Budget Answers

For those on a tighter budget, these are a few shortcuts you can take.  These are very effective and work just as good as the original way.  Anybody can use them, I do.

Homemade Liquid Fry Food

Liquid Fry Food is mostly just egg, water, and yeast.  This is a recipe that I got from another website that will be posted under Favorite Links.  I did not make this, somebody else did.  But it worked so well that I think you ought to know about it.  For a homemade recipe, simply add egg yolk to water and put a few drops into the tank.  It is simple, easy, and inexpensive.  Do not overfeed or it will pollute the tank.

Divider Substitute

I do not use this shortcut, but I know that it works.  Instead of having a piece of glass cut to use as a particition, you can simply float two plastic cups in the aquarium and put the male in one and the female in the other.  Keep them like this until until the female  is swimming with her head down and folding her fins. Then let them out into the tank.    This way is cheaper but sometimes not as effective as the glass divider.   Go ahead and try it though.

As soon as I find another short cut, I'll put it here.
